Understanding that geographic location is a fundamental element for integrating and communicating Antarctic science knowledge, SCAR's Standing Committee on Antarctic Geographic Information maintains and further develops the Antarctic Spatial Data Infrastructure (AntSDI).
This web site serves as repository that consolidates information on fundamental Antarctic geospatial products and data services for use by Antarctic scientists and the general public.
The website also provides information on relevant Geographic Information standards and specifications for use by producers of Antarctic geospatial data and services.
It offers information on the work of SCAR's Standing Committee on Antarctic Geographic Information (SCAR SC-AGI), the people behind AntSDI. It includes contributions from institutions and projects that implement AntSDI components. It offers you the opportunity of sharing your experience with other AntSDI developers.
This website is a living document. It grows based on the contributions of the AntSDI community. Check back frequently for updates.
